Oscar
"So when Rebecca from Wagtails and I went to pick up Oscar the ‘lively’ Cavapoo, he wasn’t just lively he was the nuttiest dog ever, and managed to draw blood from both of us with his long sharp claws (a sure sign that he hadn’t been walked) in his excitement of being let out of his crate. Other adoptive parents had been to see him and turned him down as he was far too lively.
To our surprise he travelled really well in the car. Within 10 minutes of being in his new house he had already made himself at home. Within his first week he had made lots of new dog and human friends and even converted non-dog lovers into dog lovers. It turned out that the nutty dog only needed some love and exercise to turn him into a calm and perfect dog who learnt how to be a well behaved dog in no time at all and the crate was never needed.
Oscar is now enjoying his new lifestyle which includes long walks, trips to the beach, going to dog shows, watching crazy people jump out of aeroplanes, sitting drinking in pub beer gardens, chasing wasps, learning lots of new and exciting games to play with all his friends and curling up for a well deserved sleep at the end of an adventurous day snoring his little head off."
