Bruno

"Hi my name is Bruno and I’m a Staffie cross. Unfortunately, my new mummy didn’t know much about me when she picked me up from Wagtails because I was a stray, but I have been on my best behavior since I got here and have now lived in Maylandsea for one year. I love it here, I have daily walks to the shops and I swim in the sea. I have been going to school to help me learn some new words and I have just achieved a certificate for level one! My mummy was so proud and I had lots of well-done cuddles. I am not friends with all of the dogs in my class but I do have two new best friends that come and visit me: Ruby, a Jack Russell, and Archie, a Yorkshire Terrier.

Nowadays if I’m not outside sunbathing or at my nan and granddad’s house I am probably asleep on the sofa or in my bed, unless I’m chewing my Kong of course. It’s so much better than being in kennels and my new mum and dad take me to lots of new places in the car.

I will never be a stray again because I have got a micro chip and have found my forever home. (The vet said I was ‘exceptional’ when he met me!)

Thank you Wagtails for rescuing me and finding me a new mummy and daddy, now I must get ready to go to the shops to get a juicy bone!"

If you have a Wagtails dog and would like to share their story with others then we would love to hear from you! Please send a photo of your dog and an update on their story to wagtailsrescue@hotmail.co.uk
