Foster a dog

Ideally Wagtails Rescue would like all dogs coming into our care to go straight to a new home. However this isn’t usually possible as a dog will often have to be removed from its present home straight away due to its owner’s sudden change in circumstances.

Wagtails Rescue therefore welcome all offers from dog experienced people willing to welcome a dog into their homes until we can find it a permanent one. This may be for a matter of days, weeks or even months as it can sometimes be difficult matching a dog with a home that will meet its needs. Some elderly dogs which come into our care would find a kennel environment very stressful so a foster home can provide a more friendly & suitable alternative.
